One good thing about a lot of Internet Forums, most have Administrators and Moderators that Ban you if you act like a jerk. Some have time outs. Some block your IP so you can't go back.

Some come back reincarnated. Under Different nicknames.They flame and inflame you. Rather than disagree with what you've posted they dig at you.

And then there was the recent case where An Administrator over at Websleuths.com was discovered to have a criminal past as a Child sex offender. She posted under the name "Windchime". She will probably go blend in somewhere else under a different nickname. Sad.

Jerks do get banned at most forums.
Goldmonkeys seems to love their "jerks". I doubt they would ever ban them and instead, welcome them with open arms.
Chat and Grumble and Refugees Unleashed seem to have the same policy.
But, the reason may be because they are all the same people.
